I’m James Carson, Founder of Publishing Strategy. I’ve worked at some of the UK’s biggest media companies in audience management and content strategy, including The Telegraph, Bauer Media and Little Dot Studios. From 2018-2024 I ran History Hit as Managing Director, leading to its acquisition, scale up and turning it into a consistently award winning multimedia company.

I wanted to setup a new kind of consultancy that combines media experience with marketing know-how, to supercharge business growth. I work across production, SEO and social media to ensure clients are getting the best value for money.
